Brendan Barbato is the founder of Shelfie Challenge. His work caught the eye of Forbes Scholar program and his company is dedicated to helping non-profits succeed. He is a first-generation college student and his spare time consists of performing medical research. He said the best feeling in the world comes after helping others. He was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at a young age. This fueled his interest in and experience with non-profits.

She teaches courses on Mindful Leadership and facilitates Women in Management groups at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
