About Jenna Leahy
Jenna Leahy is currently the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of CASA Academy, a free, public charter school for low-income students in Central Phoenix. In 2012, Ms. Leahy was accepted into the competitive “New Schools for Phoenix” incubator program through the Arizona Charter Schools Association. Through this program, Ms. Leahy and her co-founder raised over $950,000 in start-up funding, visited over 50 of the top-performing charter schools across the country and wrote a charter to found CASA Academy, which was unanimously approved by the Arizona State Board for Charters in January of 2014. Ms. Leahy’s story has been featured in the New York Times, in the book, “Where You Go Is Not Who You’ll Be” and in “The Leadership Strike Group” podcast.
