What is Your Favorite Celebrity’s Personality Type? New Fun Beta Site

In the book It’s Not You It’s Your Personality, there are a lot of celebrities listed as examples to explain personality types.  Although that book covers most of the major personality assessments out there, one of the most important assessments it addresses is the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).

A new beta site CelebrityTypes.com is now available with information that identifies intellectuals, authors, and other public figures according to their psychological type based on the MBTI.  I, Diane Hamilton, am an ESTJ.  The example celebrity shown for that type on the celebrity types site was Dr. Phil.  It would be interesting to see Dr. Phil’s actual results because he comes across as making decisions based on his values which may put him more toward an ESFJ.

Is this site completely accurate?  Maybe not and they note that there as well.  Without the person actually taking the MBTI, it can be a lot of guesswork.  The authors noted, “a reported type must be regarded as a hypothesis and never as an exact, final depiction of that person.”

Whether completely accurate or not, it can be fun to speculate. On the left side of the site, there are links to each type where you can see other examples of celebrities within each type.  Other examples of this author’s ESTJ type include:  Condoleeza Rice, Michelle Obama, Judge Judy, and Ivanka Trump.

This site does a nice job of listing the percentages of people within each type, best romantic matches, and general information about what it means to be a certain type. For more information about this site click here.  For more information about It’s Not You It’s Your Personality, click here.

What is Ugly Meter? New APP Analyzes How “Ugly” You Are

Image via azcentral.com

There is a new app available for Iphones that will allow you to take a picture of someone and then have it run a facial recognition, analyzing whether the person is attractive or not.  The app then makes a comment about their appearance . . . good or bad.

The app is very popular but it is causing debate as to whether this is a good thing to do.  Some see it as harmless fun, while others think it can be causing bullying, leading to psychological distress.

The app, only 99 cents,  will assign a score from 0-10.  Ten being the least attractive.

How popular is this app? According to azcentral.com “About two months after its release, Ugly Meter has generated over 100,000 downloads, peaking at No. 3 on the most popular chart.”

How did a beauty like Angelina Jolie rate on their test?  How about Brad Pitt? Check out the results by clicking here.

How Much Is Your Favorite Celebrity’s Net Worth? Fun Site Gives You An Idea

Celebrity Net Worth

Have you ever wondered how much an actor, musician, politican, businessman, athlete, rapper or someone else famous was worth?  Perhaps you wondered if Bruce Willis was worth more or less than Demi Moore.  There is a site called CelebrityNetWorth that can answer some of these questions for you.  The site is pretty easy to navigate.  You can ask questions like:  What rapper makes the most money?  Or . . . .Who are the richest people in the world?  You can even ask it how much a plumber makes . . .And  you can get some answers.  You can also input celebrity names and find out how much money they have.  I looked up a few that interested me but here are some of the most popular searches:

Some other names I noticed on their site included, Dr. Phil, Suze Orman ( worth $35 million), Huge Hufner, Mark  Zuckerberg (worth $6.9 billion) according to that site, and many more.  What I thought was interesting was there was a random celebrity button that, when pushed, would pull up random people that you may or may not have thought of in your quest for financial knowledge.

How reliable is the data?  According to their site, “All information presented on CelebrityNetWorth.com is gathered from sources which are thought to be reliable, but the viewer should not assume that such information is up to date or completely accurate or final. CelebrityNetWorth does not assume responsibility for any errors in the information it presents on this site.   All information on this site is based solely on public information and is subject to change without notice.”
