That Gutsy Move is what Vernice “FlyGirl” Armour is working on in her newest project, which she shares, among other things, with Dr. Diane Hamilton. Vernice got her moniker “FlyGirl” from being the first African-American woman to become a combat pilot in the US Armed Forces. For more than a decade, she has inspired organizations and individuals to make gutsy moves and create breakthrough results. As a gay woman, African American, and former beat cop, she offers a wholly different perspective on social injustice and the #BlackLivesMatter movement, which she shares with Dr. Diane in this conversation.
